Professor Tatsuhiro Takahashi was selected as one of 11 people, receiving distinguished educator award, in Yamagata University, this year.

The reason of the educational achievement is as follows :

These 10 years Professor Tatsuhiro Takahashi has leading the international research collaboration through the strategic collaboration agreement with international organizations in Germany, France, etc. and the submission and management of international research project. In addition, by the involvement of students into the international joint research, he has sent various students, not depending on departments and laboratories, to the long international internship using Tobitate program of Japanese government etc. He has been also responsible for the overseas’ internship program of leading graduate school course (called iFront or iFlex program). He has contributed to the practical education to improve international working capability through international research collaboration. This year he has actively started a new practical class to improve international working capability using regional companies, what we call glocal education (global plus local).  These achievement has been highly praised, resulting in the nomination of distinguished educator award.

Professor Tatsuhiro Takahashi continues to make his efforts to educate the next generation people having research capability with international working capability.
